Students of our University have taken part in the Tavrida National Educational Forum in Crimea.

Five students of the Department of Philology & Journalism of ASU (Alina Kunyaeva, Valeria Barkhatova, Maria Kovalenko, Lyudmila Kochina, and Karina Kurbanova) have taken part in the 3rd shift “Young Writers, Poets, & Critics” of the Forum.

The Forum has been arranged by the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and by the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. A whole number of experts have come to the Forum – well-known poets, writers, critics, journalists, and publishers. They have shared their professional experience with their young audience. They told about various nuances of literary activities and discussed issues that are essential for the publishing industry.
The Forum participants could experience a true professional environment, start cooperation, find a team, and create promising interregional projects. As Alina Kunyaeva says, “We got a good charge of positive emotions and inspiration for a whole year. The speakers surprised us every day. We learnt so much information for those seven days. Such events are very useful for young people interested in literature, as that’s a unique opportunity to make friends or get advice of a mature writer or poet. The Forum wasn’t just all that – that was also a good holiday at the sea, which is beyond any comparison”.
