Master Class in Italian Cuisine at ASU

The master class Italian Traditions of Family Dinner for students of our Department of Secondary Professional Education has taken place at the Regional Innovative Center of Catering & Healthy Nutrition of Astrakhan State University.


The event aimed to promote the national cuisine as an integral element of the world gastronomic culture.

The menu included such Italian dishes as Arancini delicate cheese balls, a soup with gnocchi, chicken fricassee, pancakes with ice-cream and berries, etc.


The guests could also learn about the history of national cuisines, the specific features and traditions; they also took part in a mini teambuilding.

At the end of the event, anyone could try the Italian dishes; the participants of the master class were given their certificates.
