ASU Becomes Federal Innovative Site

Astrakhan State University has acquired the status of the federal innovative site to implement the project "Organization of Project Activities to Retrain Qualified Pedagogues".

In accordance with this status, ASU is becoming a participant of the federal project to create innovative infrastructure in the field of education; it starts forming expert networks in topical issues of educational policy. The project is supervised by Professor Galina Stefanova, First Vice Rector – Vice Rector for Main Activities of ASU.

Background. Federal innovative sites are organizations that perform educational activities or other bodies involved in this sphere, as well as associations of such institutions of any organizational and legal form. The sites implement innovative projects or programs that are of special importance to provide modernization and development of the national educational system, considering with the main trends of Russia's social and economic development and with top priorities of Russia's educational policy (Clause 20 of Federal Law "Concerning Education in Russian Federation").
