ASU Will Help Ensure High-Quality Monitoring ofState Final Examination

OnApril15, Astrakhan State University held aseminar ontraining persons who are aspiring toobtain the status offederal expert, federal public observer and online observer.

The seminar aimed at selecting and training observers for their participation in monitoring of the main and additional stages of the 2019 Final State Examination.

The seminar programme included lectures on legal regulation of conducting the Final State Examination, activities of subject and conflict commissions, as well as organization of work of the regional centre for information processing and video monitoring during the Final State Examination.

The lectures were delivered by Denis Barkunov, the Director of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Astrakhan region of Additional Professional Education "Centre of Education Monitoring", and its Deputy Director Marina Komarova. The students also took part in a teambuilding course, organized by Daria Panarina, who heads the project activities at the autonomous non-profit organization "Centre of Student Programmes of the Russian Union of Youth".

The second part of the seminar consisted of lectures on organizing work of federal experts, federal public observers and online observers, and included practical classes and case studies. The students were trained by Elizaveta Karpova, the Head of the Monitoring & Educational Statistics Unit of the Education Monitoring Centre, Anastasia Silina, the Deputy Chair of the autonomous non-profit organization "Russian Union of Youth", Elnara Khusnetdenova, a supervisor of programmes of the Public Observer Corps, and other experts.

The seminar concluded with the final testing of its participants.
