Astrakhan State University Will Open Uzbek Language and Culture Center

A respective decision was made during the official visit of the ASU delegation to Urgench State University, the Republic of Uzbekistan.

To meet this purpose, an agreement on opening mirror centers of the Russian language and culture at Urgench State University and a center of the Uzbek language and culture at Astrakhan Tatishchev State University was signed at the meeting with the rector of Urgench State University Bakhrom Abdullayev.

At the same time, meetings were organized with Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Gairat Urazboev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Zafar Ibragimov, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Ilyos Abdullayev, where issues of developing cooperation on implementing joint educational programmes, networking, academic exchanges of teachers and students, as well as the prospects for joint scientific developments that can be used in implementing strategic projects of the Priority 2030 development programme of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University were discussed.

Implementation of the proposed initiatives will ensure high-quality training of specialists that will be in demand on the labor market, with the creation of all the necessary conditions for their socio-cultural adaptation during the training period.
